DAP Weldwood Original Contact Cement

Family · Contact cement

Strengths

What it’s good at

High-pressure laminate on countertops, tabletops, and cabinets; also veneer, leather, fabric, and rubber — a full-coverage bond that needs no clamps.

Limits

Where it falls short

One shot: once the two coated faces make firm contact, they cannot be shifted. It is flammable, non-structural, and ruled out for polystyrene foam.
