Glue type
Super glue (CA)
Cyanoacrylate. Bonds in seconds on small, tight-fitting parts — but brittle, and poor across gaps.
Best for
Where it works best
Wrong toolGaps, flexible joints, and constant soaking — it is thin, brittle, and only water-resistant.
Using it
What actually matters
- 01Use less than you think — one drop covers a coin-sized area.
- 02Parts must fit tightly; CA cannot bridge gaps (a gel helps a little).
- 03Press and hold steady for the first 30 seconds.
- 04Keep it off skin and cotton — the reaction with fibers is instant and hot.
