What actually matters
- 01Tool the bead within minutes; once it skins over it will not smooth out.
- 02Mask both sides of the joint for a clean line.
- 03Nothing sticks to cured silicone — not even more silicone, so get it right the first time.
- 04Choose '100% silicone'; paintable 'siliconized' caulks are a different product.
